Danger in the kitchen

Danger in the kitchen!! Well, not major danger - but... Chris was cooking supper - chili with some tomatoes someone brought us today - and I was doing some cleaning in the kitchen while he cooked. In a little while, my nose and upper lip starting burning like crazy. It kept getting worse and worse. I said something to Chris, and we finally figured out I must have gotten some of the jalapeno juice off of the counter onto my finger and touched my nose. Man it burned for about 15 minutes!! Felt like a lot longer than that.
